MEET OUR TEAM
Sondra harper
Sondra Harper is a passionate yoga practitioner and teacher, who has been studying and practicing yoga since 2000. Her deep interest in the spiritual practices of yoga led her to receive formal initiation into yoga from Pandit Rajmani Tigunait of the Himalayan Institute in 2011. Over the years, Sondra has traveled to India numerous times to undertake further studies and deepen her understanding of the practice.
Aside from her expertise in yoga, Sondra is also a master NLP practitioner, bringing a unique perspective to her teaching. For the past 12 years, Sondra has been leading and teaching yoga, Feng Shui, and NLP, empowering her students to achieve their fullest potential.
Currently, Sondra is working on her first book, titled "The Four Attitudes: The Alchemy of an Open Heart and a Clear Mind," where she shares her knowledge and insights on yoga and mindfulness practices. She is deeply committed to teaching people how to breathe with ease, and believes in the transformative power of a regular yoga practice.
Sondra is an RYT 200 hour and a Certified Vishoka Meditation teacher, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classes.

Katherine Moore
Katherine "Kitty" Moore has been teaching Yoga full time for 27 years.
She's the owner and director of The Hidden Yoga Studio in Niwot, CO, and Sadhana West Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Immersions.
A Yoga Alliance certified ERYT-500, She holds a 200-hour certification from The Center for Yoga and Healing Arts in Amherst, Massachusetts, a 500 certification from Para Yoga, and a 500 certification from the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA. She was initiated into the lineage of Sri Vidya in 2004 by Rod Stryker and has studied continuously since 2009 with Pandit Rajmani Tigunait from the Himalayan Institute. She is a certified Four Desires Trainer and a certified Vishoka Meditation teacher. In addition to her other certifications, Kitty has studied ISHTA Yoga with Alan Finger, Sanskrit with Manorama and Siva Tigunait, Restorative Yoga with Judith Hansen Lasater, and Yoga Spirit with Kim Valeri from YogaSpirit Studios. As a wife and mother of four, she knows the importance of a sense of humor, and she brings it to class and to her workshops. She is known for her storytelling, precise cueing, and ability to teach the dharma of yoga in an accessible way for the modern yogi. She loves to share the beauty and depth of the yogic tradition with her students.

TRAVEL TO AMORGOS
You will want to arrive in Athens, Santorini or another nearby island by the night of May 31,2024 . Most students chose to travel before or after in Greece and catch the ferry from that location to Amorgos on the first day of the retreat. Please contact 7gemsretreats@gmail.com if you have any questions regarding booking airfares or ferries to arrive at Katapola port on May 31, 2024 and leaving from Katapola on the June 8,2024.
Take the water taxi from Los Muertos here is the link with the schedule and all the info. The prices are in Mexican Peso so you will want to bring some of those and buy your ticket in advance. $250 peso ($15 usd) one way or $450 peso round trip.
As the easternmost island of the Cycladic region, Amorgos can only be reached by boat. There are two ports on the island, Aegiali and Katapola. Ferries depart from Athens or/and from other islands, depending on the season, as from end of May to end of September, more ferry connections are available. Schedule of the ferries can be found online:
and both ports have to be chosen in order to find all options.
